Barn wedding on a "hot" summer day

Ashley & Chris met in Alaska (and Chris grew up here) but they now live in Arizona. Their wedding day was gorgeous and sunny, and I'm quoting born-and-bred Alaskans when I say it was "hot" - I think it hit the mid 70s? Their Arizona guests on the other hand, coming from 110 degrees (this was the week of summer that some aircraft were actually grounded due to the heat), considered the trip a cool weather vacation. No matter your take on the temperature, everyone could agree that this ceremony was a tear-jerker. Chris' father married them and everyone lost it when Chris himself began to cry (I'm convinced it's scientifically impossible NOT to cry when the groom himself is teared up looking at his bride). I'm so happy Ashley & Chris found me, and it was a true honor to document their day.
